"The Daylight Plays Tricks on Us" is one of those books that, in my opinion, everyone should have on their shelves. The first thing that I wanna say, before I even start talking about the book itself is that writing poetry in 2020 is not that easy. Every word has already been written, every image has already been described and feelings are underrated. This book, though, hit me very hard. The author takes you through her life, she tells you multiple different stories. You go through the death of her mother, the feeling of emptiness, love and acceptance. I have to admit that I got emotional while reading this book, it's impossible to understand a pain like this if you haven't felt it on your skin, but the way she described it really gave me chills. I also really appreciated the poems about love, the way she described and somehow carefully protected these feelings is absolutely amazing. A real masterpiece. 5⭐️/5⭐️ - ITALIAN: "The Daylight Plays Tricks on Us" ...
